Tailend Results

It is very difficult to determine at what percentage a

product/service has received an "compelling mandate" that it deserves

a Tailend award (and in some cases a product/service may have also

received a Homer nomination or award).  In every case, at least some

voters believed that the product/service was acceptable and in every

case, some voters believed that the product did deserve a Tailend

award. 

So, rather than using a "cutoff value" to determine this

award, the Tailend nominees are ranked here by percentage of votes

received for the Tailend Award (after factoring out those who

voted "did not try or no opinion." ). The percentages shown are

of the Silly Yaks who believe these products deserve a Tailend award.

Keep in mind that some of the voters may have considered factors

other than taste or quality.  For example, the P.F. Chang's dessert

was originally nominated on the basis of portion size and value for

the price, NOT the taste or quality of the dessert.

Also, some voters may have a limited exposure to Gluten Free

products/services and may be comparing those products/services to

mainstream products/services that they have enjoyed.

These rankings may be helpful to you in deciding whether to try the

products/services listed.  However, it may be just as helpful to

ask people what they disliked about a product/service.  It

could be as simple as, "I liked it all right, but my child wouldn't

touch it."
